"Oldbury the Painting" is a truly unique art piece that tells a historic story. Created in an updated traditional style depicting the relevance to the Atkinson family and the Oldbury property at Sutton Forest built in the late Georgian Era. The central feature is the original stone farmhouse with a surrounding illustrated manuscript border painted in a style that is an all but lost craft; there is also a time line inset within the border.

Only 10 limited Edition Prints of "Oldbury the Painting" released, prints 4 to 10 still available direct from the artist for $495.00 each including GST. Size is 600mm x 450mm unframed accompanied with a print of the "Story Behind the Painting" and an "Artists Perspective" (Image Map).

The reproduction quality of these prints is truly amazing, each print individually numbered and signed by the artist and printed on superior quality archival paper.

The fabulous assistance we received from Mrs Linda Emery and Mr David Baxter of the Berrima District Historical & Family History Society towards researching the Gale family that built our own late Victorian home in the Southern Highlands was later to become the inspiration to create “Oldbury the Painting”.
